  • Maryland now allows voting by mail on a permanent basis, so you don’t have to re-apply each election.

The Board of Elections recently shared new information about certain mail-in ballots being sent to voters from the wrong party. This was a vendor error and is being corrected.

There is no risk of duplicate voting because safeguards are in place to ensure that only corrected replacement ballots are counted.

If you received an original ballot, regardless of whether it is correct or not, please securely discard or destroy it and use only the replacement ballot being mailed to you. It will be marked as a replacement.

Voters who complete and return the replacement ballot according to election instructions will have their vote counted.

More information can be found here.

  • The deadline to register for the Primary Election is June 2. You may do it online, or request an application. Details are available here.
